SAGE purchased CQ Press not too long ago. There were few changes immediately following the acquisition. More recently, there have been a whole host of changes with promises of more to come. It seems that SAGE would like CQ to develop a stronger presence in the world of e-publishing. This is not too surprising when you consider that SAGE is primarily a producer of journals and that academic journals were some of the earliest adopters of e-pub technology. It follows that they would like to see the newly acquired company to embrace e-pub technology.
What sorts of changes will SAGE bring to CQ?
How will SAGE incorporate change at CQ?
I am interested in tracking general news, business model shifts, how changes are implemented, and how they can be compared and contrasted to the changes seen in our industry peers.
